Aluminum Sulfate Accelerator Medium is a moderately active aluminum sulfate accelerator with Al₂(SO₄)₃·14–18H₂O as its main component. The Al₂O₃ content is ≥15.5%, and the water solubility is ≥99%. It rapidly ionizes in water to generate Al³⁺, and through hydrolysis, it generates Al(OH)₃ colloid and releases acidic groups, achieving rapid coagulation, acceleration, and early strength effects.

pH 4.0–5.5 (Optimal Activity Range): Al³⁺ hydrolyzes completely, forming high specific surface area Al(OH)₃ colloids, resulting in the fastest reaction rate.

pH 5.5–7.5 (Stable Application Range): Balances acceleration effect with system stability, suitable for most industrial water treatment and building material systems.

pH < 4.0 (Strong Acid Range): Predominantly Al³⁺ ionic form, enhanced coagulation effect, but corrosiveness needs to be controlled.

Rapid Charge Neutralization: High-valence Al³⁺ effectively compresses the electric double layer, significantly reducing the zeta potential and improving flocculation efficiency.

Large Floc Formation: Generates a dense Al(OH)₃ colloidal network structure, enhancing bridging and adsorption capacity.

Fast Settling Speed: High floc density reduces settling time by 20–40%.

Significant Reduction in Effluent Turbidity: Under conventional dosing conditions, turbidity removal rate can reach over 90%.
